Air conditioning for living rooms.

Tell us where you sit, which windows catch the afternoon sun and whether the room opens into a kitchen or hall. Those details help us work out where a unit could go and how much space it needs to serve.

Where will the air go?

Mark the sofa and dining table on a quick sketch. A clear path across the room gives you more choice than a position blowing straight at your seat. Leave enough access to open the cover and clean the filters.

What will you see from the sofa?

A photo from your usual seat shows the wall space above shelves, doors and furniture. Ask where pipe covers and the drain would run. If the room is being decorated, the timing may affect which routes are practical.

Sound when watching television

Ask for the indoor sound figures at the fan setting you expect to use. For an open-plan room, include the distance between the unit, sofa and kitchen when discussing the options.

Using the room for heating

If you want a reversible system for winter evenings, include the adjoining spaces you actually want heated. An open staircase, sliding doors and a kitchen extension can change the choice of equipment.

Questions before you enquire

Could a single unit serve my lounge and dining area?

An open connection can help air circulate, but the layout and heating or cooling needs of both areas matter. Send the dimensions of each space and show the opening between them.

What if there is very little wall space?

Photographs of the available wall and floor space help us compare a high-wall unit with a low-level console. For a renovation, a ceiling void may also be worth discussing.

Send us the details of your space

We welcome enquiries from Woodford Green, South Woodford and surrounding London and Essex areas. Check our service areas and send your postcode so we can discuss availability. A site assessment may be needed before equipment and a final price are agreed.
