Air conditioning for bedrooms.

A bedroom system needs to work around where you sleep, not just fit on an empty wall. Avana Air supplies and installs air conditioning across London and Essex, with bedroom layouts, appearance and night-time use considered together.

Start with the room, not a unit size

Tell us whether it is a main bedroom, guest room or loft room, and when it becomes uncomfortable. Room dimensions, glazing, insulation and use all belong in the discussion. A floor-area figure on its own does not tell us enough to select equipment.

Where should the indoor unit go?

Show the bed, wardrobes and possible mounting walls in your photos. We need to consider the direction of airflow, access for filter cleaning and the route to the outdoor unit. A position that looks tidy in a photo may leave an awkward pipe route or blow directly towards the pillow.

What does quiet actually mean?

Ask for the sound information for the exact indoor and outdoor models, including the operating setting. A low-fan figure is not a promise that every setting will sound the same. Discuss the bed position and nearby bedroom windows before agreeing the outdoor location. Neither indoor nor outdoor equipment should be described as silent.

What will be visible after installation?

The indoor unit is only part of the finish. Ask where pipes and drainage will run, which sections need visible trunking, and whether any decorating or making good is included. If you are renovating, tell us before walls and finishes are completed so the proposed route can be discussed.

One bedroom or several?

If more than one bedroom needs air conditioning, compare the complete proposed layout. A single split serves one room; a compatible multi-split arrangement connects several indoor units to one outdoor unit. The choice depends on the available positions and equipment combination, not simply the number of bedrooms.

Questions before you enquire

Can the same unit heat the bedroom?

A reversible air-to-air system can provide heating as well as cooling. The specification needs to suit the room and your intended use; discuss both requirements when requesting a quote.

Can you quote from photographs?

Photos and dimensions help us start the conversation. Access, routes and equipment selection may need a site assessment before a final quote.

Will one unit cool bedrooms through the landing?

Do not assume it will. Tell us every room you want conditioned and whether doors will be closed; the layout needs to be considered room by room.

Send us the details of your space

We welcome enquiries from Woodford Green, South Woodford and surrounding London and Essex areas. Check our service areas and send your postcode so we can discuss availability. A site assessment may be needed before equipment and a final price are agreed.
